100% B2B — verified car dealers only

Bid, buy and sell vehicles: the online auction house for the trade

biet2biet works like an auction house for cars — fully online and strictly B2B. Dealers bid in 48-hour auctions on fully documented vehicles from our own stock; letting registered dealers list vehicles of their own is already in preparation. No buyer’s premium, no middlemen.

Buying: from access to award in 4 steps

Like an auction house — without the sale room, the fixed dates or the premium.

  1. 1

    Request dealer access

Register as a professional dealer. After verifying your business details we activate your account — usually within one working day.

  2. 2

    Browse the auctions

Every vehicle with photos, equipment, marked damage, tyre condition and COC data — currently all of them from MKAA direct purchasing. Search alerts automatically notify you of matching arrivals.

  3. 3

    Place your bid

Every bid is hidden: no other dealer sees your amount, your company name or your identity — only the number of bidders and the time of the last bid are visible. Your bid is a net amount with no automatic proxy bidding; you can always see whether you are the highest bidder, and an e-mail tells you the moment you are outbid. At the weekend the auction clock pauses: from Saturday 08:00 to Monday 08:00 the countdown does not run on. We can additionally switch off the number of bidders and the time of the last bid — you then see your own bids only.

  4. 4

    Award & collection

The seller grants the award. You then take over the vehicle with complete paperwork — currently exclusively MKAA vehicles at our Luxembourg locations.

Selling: your stock in front of registered dealers — planned

At present we auction vehicles from our own MKAA stock only. The plan is to open biet2biet in both directions: registered dealers list their own vehicles and let the dealer circle bid — keeping full control over the award. Here is how that will work:

  1. 1

    List your vehicle

Upload photos, record condition and equipment — the listing is auction-ready in minutes.

  2. 2

    Dealers bid for 48 hours

Your auction runs within the closed dealer circle, with the clock paused at weekends. Dealers bid hidden from one another — as the seller you track every bid on your own auction from your account.

  3. 3

    You grant the award

Accept the highest bid, pick another one or none at all — there is no obligation to sell.

Why dealers trade on biet2biet

The auction house principle, translated into a fast, transparent online platform for professionals.

100% B2B — closed circle

Only verified and activated professional dealers can bid. No private buyers, no ghost accounts.

Complete documentation

Detailed photos, damage marked on the silhouette, equipment list, tyre tread and COC data — you know what you are bidding on.

48-hour auctions — paused at weekends

Clear runtimes instead of constant monitoring. From Saturday 08:00 to Monday 08:00 the countdown stands still: you can keep bidding, but nobody loses bidding time just because their business is closed at the weekend.

No buyer’s premium

Registration, search and bidding are free. Your net bid is your purchase price — no automatic proxy bidding from a stored maximum, no premium, no hidden fees.

Every bid is hidden

No competitor sees your amount, your company name or your identity — only the number of bidders and the time of the last bid are visible. Your calculation stays entirely your business; you can still see at any time whether you are the highest bidder or have been outbid. We can additionally switch off the number of bidders and the time of the last bid — you then see your own bids only.

Direct handover from the seller

Collection with complete paperwork and a handover protocol. At present you pick up every vehicle you win at our central MKAA locations in Luxembourg — quick to reach from Germany, France and Belgium.

The auction house for cars — digital, fast and trade-only

Online vehicle auctions built on the auction house principle

biet2biet brings the proven auction house principle to the digital car trade: a vehicle is listed with complete documentation, the dealer circle bids for 48 hours, the best offer wins the award. Unlike open classifieds portals, only verified trade businesses bid here — pricing and settlement stay professional. The plan is to open the platform to sellers as well: registered dealers will then be able to list their own stock and always decide on the award themselves.

At present every lot comes from MKAA direct purchasing in Luxembourg — verified stock, documented and ready for immediate collection. For buyers that means plannable supply for the lot, without fixed dates in physical auction halls and without a premium.

Sale-room transparency — documentation instead of blind buying

A good auction house lives on how well it describes its lots. On biet2biet every vehicle is documented with detailed photos, damage marked on the vehicle silhouette, an equipment list, tyre tread depths and COC data. You calculate your margin before the first bid — and bid with the same confidence as after an inspection.

The bidding mechanics are deliberately simple: every bid is hidden — no dealer sees another bidder’s amount, company name or identity; all that is visible is the number of bidders and the time of the last bid. Your bid is also your price: it is a net amount, and there is no automatic proxy bidding from a stored maximum — if you win, you pay exactly the amount you bid. You can see your own standing at any time, and by default an e-mail tells you when you have been outbid — a notice you can switch off as you bid. A minimum bid increment of €100 can be switched on; it is currently switched off, so bid amounts are free. We can additionally switch off the number of bidders and the time of the last bid — you then see your own bids only.

Add to that the weekend pause, which stops the countdown from Saturday 08:00 until Monday 08:00 — exactly 48 hours. Because far from every business is staffed at the weekend, not a single one of the 48 hours is used up in that window; the end time simply shifts back by those 48 hours. A 48-hour auction that runs across the weekend therefore ends at the very time of day it was listed — just four days later instead of two. Bids remain perfectly possible in the meantime. Once the deadline passes the seller decides on the award; the invoice follows as soon as the vehicle has arrived at MKAA — after which 7 days apply for payment and 14 days for collection.

From Luxembourg for the Greater Region

biet2biet is operated by MKAA from Luxembourg. You take over awarded vehicles at the MKAA sites in Roost and Bertrange, less than an hour from Trier, Metz, Arlon and Saarbrücken. Handover always comes with complete papers and a protocol; cross-border sourcing within the EU becomes a standard process.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is biet2biet?

An online auction house for vehicles, strictly B2B: professional dealers bid on documented vehicles in time-limited auctions — comparable to an auction platform like eBay, but with a verified circle of participants and clear auction rules. At present every auction vehicle comes from our own MKAA stock; the plan is for dealers to also auction their own stock to the dealer circle at a later stage.

Who can bid?

Only professional car dealers with valid proof of trade. After registration we verify your details and activate your access — usually within one working day.

What does it cost?

Registration, vehicle search and bidding are free and there is no buyer’s premium. The amount bid is the net purchase price; where VAT is chargeable it is added at the statutory rate. Whether VAT can be shown for a given vehicle is stated in its listing: under the margin scheme no VAT can be shown; an intra-Community supply to a business may be invoiced exempt from tax.

How does an auction work?

Standard runtime of 48 hours with a visible countdown. Every bid is hidden: you see the number of bidders and when the last bid was placed, but never the amount, company name or identity of the others. Your own standing — "you are the highest bidder" or "you have been outbid" — stays visible at all times; by default an e-mail also tells you when you are outbid, and you can switch that notice off as you bid. Your bid is a net amount with no automatic proxy bidding. A minimum bid increment of €100 can be switched on; it is currently switched off. At the weekend the auction clock pauses, so the remaining time stays put. The seller grants the award; an automatic award to the highest bid can be enabled per auction. We can additionally switch off the number of bidders and the time of the last bid — you then see your own bids only.

Does the 48-hour window keep running at the weekend?

No. From Saturday 08:00 until Monday 08:00 the auction clock is paused — a span of exactly 48 hours. Not a single one of the 48 bidding hours is used up in that window, and the end time shifts back by exactly that span. In practice that means a 48-hour auction running across the weekend ends at the very time of day it was listed — just four days later instead of two, while an auction that never touches the pause ends after 48 hours by the wall clock as usual. You can still place bids perfectly normally over the weekend; only the countdown stands still. The reason: not every business is staffed at the weekend, and nobody should miss out on a vehicle for that reason alone.

Where do the vehicles come from?

Currently exclusively from MKAA direct purchasing in Luxembourg — every auction vehicle therefore comes from our own verified stock and is fully documented. The plan is to open the platform to registered dealers, who can then list their own stock in addition.

Can I auction my own vehicles?

That is planned, but not yet enabled: at present we auction vehicles from our own MKAA stock exclusively. Register as a dealer now — we will let you know as soon as listing your own vehicles becomes possible. The intended process: create the listing with photos and a condition report, the dealer circle bids for 48 hours, and you decide freely on the award — with no obligation to sell.

How do I get my vehicle after the award?

You receive an award confirmation and arrange the handover: since every auction vehicle currently comes from MKAA stock, you collect it at our Roost or Bertrange sites. We issue the invoice as soon as the vehicle has arrived at MKAA — where a vehicle arrives later, the date is stated in its listing. From the invoice date you have 7 days to pay and 14 days to collect; the payment must have arrived by the time you pick the vehicle up at the latest. Vehicle documents and the handover protocol are ready when you arrive.
